A long tale of woe follows.

So, I went on the trail of Bonemass.. long way north across the oceans.

It was all going well in my new expensive long-ship. I reached the locale after a day or sailing. However just before I looked to land, a sea serpent attacked. I wasn't worried..as the ship has a lot of hit-points. So I stood and arrowed it like a porcupine. By this time, as I was on the edge of the swamp I had attracted loads of killer leaches and they were damaging the ship. Therefore I hoisted the sails to full and sped off....

In the stormy rain, I saw what I thought was dark forest and moored next to a tower.. only to realize it was actually the plains biome. Three fulings attacked and I took out two relatively quickly, only to realize that the last was a 2 star boss and he took me down with one hefty club swing.

Bugger!!. On the ship was my portal equipment.. and I was hundreds of miles away

I respawned back home.. portalled to where I had a smaller ship moored and lept on with minimal supplies, basically food, bow and arrows.. and old armor.

I landed after another loooong journey in another huge storm near the locale and stealthed near to my body. I grabbed some stuff just as the boss fuling came dawdling around the building.

I crapped my self and ran mounted a rock and fired iron arrows into him reducing him to a red sliver of life.. victory was mine.. NOO. I fell of the rock and he again clubbed me senseless. .and I was again dead.

So.. with no armor a basic bow and flint arrows I made the 3rd ship.

The journey was uneventful and again after a day I safely moored nearby.

I managed to sneak and get most of my kit from both bodies. Armored up and eat the best food. Equipped the best level four iron weapons and went to destroy the Fuling slayer. Just as I ran up to him to take that last sliver of life, I saw that he was fully healed. I turned and once again sought the high ground.

This chase pulled in some grey dwarves, shaman and brutes included and four skeleton archers.

I ran in stamina sapping circles narrowly avoiding the Fuling boss, killed the new threats and just managed to leap into a boulder.

I shot him to death and immediately built that portal back home.

Shaking.

I gathered everything including the remains of the ships and built a treehouse...

I then headed home..

I will be back.

And Bonemass, well he is within spitting distance of where this all happened..
